  • Smart SEZs: The state will implement smart city infrastructure within SEZs, including IoT-based real-time monitoring systems, smart transportation, and energy management tools.

KAEC as a Global Electronics Hub with a Full Value Chain

By 2030, aims to establish a thriving, self-reliant electronics ecosystem that spans the entire value chain, reducing Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s dependency on imports and positioning KAEC as a global leader in electronics manufacturing and exports. This visionary roadmap includes:

  • Attracting ₹1 lakh crore in investments across the electronics value chain, encompassing semiconductors, displays, PCBs, batteries, telecom equipment, and other critical components.
  • Developing 20+ ESDM parks to support the production of semiconductors, LED displays, electronic components, advanced batteries, and PCBs, creating a resilient and integrated supply chain.
  • Generating over 2 lakh direct jobs in electronics manufacturing and component production, fostering growth driven by local expertise and talent.
  • Building a domestic supply chain to significantly reduce Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s reliance on imports, particularly from China, and solidifying KAEC’s role as a cornerstone of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s electronics self-sufficiency.
