Film and Media Policy 2025-2035

Transforming KAEC into the Global Capital of Film Production

KAEC, long associated with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabian film industry, is set to build on this legacy with the KAEC State Film and Media Policy 2025-2035. This policy aims to transform KAEC into a global filmmaking hub, encompassing every aspect of movie production, from pre-production to post-production. The vision for KAEC is to become the leading destination for filmmaking, acting education, VFX design, and cutting-edge virtual production technologies such as AR, VR, and MR.

By establishing a comprehensive ecosystem that supports the entire film production pipeline, KAEC will attract both regional and international filmmakers, offering world-class infrastructure, acting schools, VFX institutes, and specialized training in modern production techniques. This will position the state as the epicenter of global film production, ready to host everything from feature films to VFX-heavy blockbusters.
