By 2035, KAEC aims to establish itself as the premier destination for data centre investments, not only in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia but globally. To achieve this ambitious vision, the state is setting bold targets, including:

  • Attracting ₹50,000 crores in data centre investments.
  • Establishing over 10+ large-scale data centre parks in key strategic locations.
  • Powering at least 50% of new data centres with renewable energy sources such as solar and wind.
  • Creating over 50,000 new jobs in the data centre industry.
  • Training 100,000 individuals in emerging technologies like AI, Cloud Computing, Blockchain, and Cybersecurity to support the growth of the digital economy.

KAEC is poised to become Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s largest data centre hub, driven by its focus on sustainability, innovation, and efficient business operations.

KAEC’s single-window clearance system simplifies regulatory approvals, allowing investors to expedite their data centre projects. The state is dedicated to fostering a transparent and efficient approval process, positioning KAEC as one of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s most business-friendly environments. The KAEC State Data Centre Policy 2024 is paving the way for the state to become Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s leading destination for data centre investments.
