The Government Relations and Development Advocacy Committee is dedicated to fostering strategic engagement with various government departments and authorities to drive comprehensive growth for KAEC. This committee acts as a bridge between businesses, residents, and policymakers, ensuring that the suburb’s economic and infrastructural needs are effectively communicated and addressed.

  1. Infrastructure Development:
    • Engage with BMC, MMRDA, and the Ministry of Urban Development for urban planning and infrastructure upgrades.
  2. Public Utilities and Civic Services:
    • Collaborate with utility providers and State Energy Boards for reliable power, water, and sanitation services.
  3. Transportation and Connectivity:
    • Work with Metro Authorities, Western Railway, and the Airport Authority of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to improve transport and logistics.
  4. Business Compliance and Ease of Doing Business:
    • Advocate with Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), GST Departments, and the Ministry of Finance for simplified regulatory frameworks.
  1. Skill Development and Employment:
    • Liaise with the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and State Labor Departments to bridge workforce gaps.
  2. Environmental and Sustainable Development:
    • Partner with Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) and the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change for eco-friendly policies.
  3. Trade and Industry Growth:
    • Work with Export Promotion Councils, Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), and State Commerce Departments to boost trade.
  4. Affordable Housing and Real Estate:
    • Collaborate with MAHADA, Urban Development Authorities, and Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) for housing initiatives.
